31 October 2019 : The Exhibition ‘Qatar, India and the Gulf: History, Culture and Society’ was opened on 31 October, 2019 at Qatar National Library (QNL), as part of ongoing India-Qatar year of Culture 2019, which explores thousands of years of connections between India, Qatar and the Gulf region.

25-26 October, 2019 : Exhibition in Qatar to mark 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji [Venue : Indian Cultural Centre Doha]

1 October 2019: H.E. P. Kumaran, Ambassador and Mr. Hamad Mohammed Al Fahida, Chief Operations Officer, Qatar Post jointly released a commemorative postage stamp to mark 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at prestigious Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar (VCUarts Qatar).

1 October 2019: Indian Embassy together with VCUarts Qatar held a Fashion-cum-Exhibition Show “CELEBRATING KHADI:The Fabric of Freedom and sustainability” to mark 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Renowned Bengaluru based fashion designer– Prasad Bidapa presented the show. During the course of the event, Indian Embassy and Qatar Post jointly released a commemorative postage stamp to mark 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

17 - 28 September 2019: Ambassador of India, P. Kumaran, inaugurated the “Islamic Monuments of India – An Exhibition” , at Katara Cultural Village (Building 19, Gallery 1), held as part of ongoing #IndiaQatar2019 Year of Culture. The Exhibition ran from 17 – 28 September, 2019, exhibiting pictures from well-known Indian photographer and art historian Benoy K. Behl.

26-28 August, 2019 : Soulful performances rendered by ICCR empanelled troupe led by Ms. Debasmita Bhattacharya at Katara Cultural Village on 26 August, at Indian Cultural Centre on 27 August and at Dukhan Town on 28 August, as part of ongoing India-Qatar Year of Culture
